Held on the 23th of August, as stated by the Official Gazette´swarning, the Public Hearing session to present and discuss offered acreage in Round 10. ANP´s General Director, Haroldo Lima, opened the session remembering the importance of the Agency´s continuous bid offerings as essential to preserve the country´s self-sufficiency in oil and to achieve this goal as far as natural gas is concerned. Director Nelson Narciso observed the importance of acreage characterized as “new frontier” on offer in R10, reminding that Santos Basin area, when first auctioned was in the same way seen as new frontier and today represents a huge potential for Brazil.
